EARTH HOUR : OUR EARTH

With all the disasters and calamities ruin many countries now, like earthquakes, tsunami, leadership crisis, and many more, we cannot really afford to get worse right now. We cannot be selfish now, we should be paying good back to our home planet Earth. So tonight at 8:30-9:30 PM, do not forget to turn off your lights for the Earth Hour. It's been years that the whole world join to this symbolic event of paying good to our mother Earth. And let's make it more successful this year.

It's not really everyday that we make this thing, so let's not treat this as a sacrifice. Let's treat this like our gift to our Mother Earth.

Why BPI Sucks?!

OK, on our foundation day, BPI  (Bank of the Philippine Islands) had this corner in our university for the students who would like to avail their Zero-Maintaining ATM's. And yes, we availed of the card because they only asked for 200php for us to open accounts. They even made us choose from the freebies they had that day. Days after activating the account on the date they have set, we decided to use the card for purchasing in a well-known grocery. It didn't work, yeah right things happen, but my RCBC card was not like that when I used it in the same grocery. Plus, when I was to deposit cash in my card, I asked politely to a guard about my account number not fitting in their deposit slip, he said "hindi, huwag ako ang kausapin mo. dun ka makipag usap", pointing the clerks in their branch. Then so be it! I didn't bother talk to him and went out of their branch. It's just about the deposit slip and he barely answer me right.

 

See, do services change when their costumers are students? I feel sad because I reckon it's not in their policies (and hoping). Well, still can't use my card till now. It's not about the money now, if someone's misinterpreting me, It's about the SERVICE fellas!

ETC in RPN x ANTM Cycle 16

Last March 2, ETC moved to it's new home in RPN 9. This general-entertainment cable channel moved in the hopes of reaching more Filipinos by offering American TV shows fresh right after their US telecast (see Match Airing). That's really awesome of them, you need not to wait for months in other networks' offers. For example, they telecast Glee via satellite unlike the other cable channels do. 

Of course, they brought with them their knock-off TV shows with Match Airing as well. America's Next Top Model Cycle 16 also debuted in the Philippines with them. It's really nice to watch fresh episodes and for free now! ANTM had a big twist in it's premiere episode, which was a breath of fresh air. 

Judges, remain and for their first challenge, they have to to a runway show on water in a giant ball! Some fell but some graced with natural confidence and attitude. Also, early favorites arise like Monique and Hannah(I have an eye on both of you. lol).

So last week, our dear university celebrated it's 63rd (or maybe 64th? I really didn't bother to know. lol) founding anniversary. Well, they have tons of activities lined-up for us, but we wanted to do some photography more than that. Check out our photos man:

AZKALS x Metro Society

In the glitz and glamor of the elites, few have been hand-picked to be a cover on the leading society magazine in the Philippines, the Metro Society. After their sold-out status in their February cover, Gretchen Baretto, they came-out this March with the Philippine Azkals on their cover. Well, for the Younghusbands fans out there, don't be frustrated for they were not on the cover to give way to its other members.
