Heya Vizcaya!: Day Two

This is my second day in Nueva Vizcaya, and I'm in love with the place! Although the weather is kinda spoiler 'cos it's so hot in the morning yet heavy rains pour in the evening. But the vacation should continue no matter what, so we visited a jaw-dropper hotel in the place because of its well decorated and glamorous interiors.

Look at the paintings behind me.

Gray Graphic tee, OXYGEN; Hat and Accessories,
FOLDED & HUNG; Jeans, BENCH.

Day two, and I'm in love with the food, the sceneries, and the WiFi (courtesy of Tan Family).

Heya Vizcaya!: Day One.

So my good friend Mimi, invited me to go to her relatives in Nueva Vizcaya to witness their annual Ammungan Festival. I did not let go of that opportunity, so we traveled almost five hours just to get there, and it was all worth it!

Statement Staples

Do you have crowded closet? Do you have clothes that you don't know that you have? Puzzled on what to keep and what to throw away? Here's my simple solution for your closet dilemma. TIP# 1: Keep clothing articles that you will use for a long time. And have the good brands for these items. TIP# 2: Splurge on Cardigans, Blazers, Jackets, Vests, and the classic items. Save on tees, trousers, accessories, and others that run out of style abruptly.  TIP# 3: Throw away the ones you have not worn for the last six months or more. The ill-fitted ones, and those that have 'major major' disaster (lol). TIP# 4: Have at least one good pair of shoes that you could wear on at least any occasion. And at least one good bag, a tote bag, favorably. TIP# 5: Lastly, think like an Italian: "Quality, Not Quantity."

Here are the ones you should be splurging on:
Leather Jacket w/ Shoulder Seams

Waistcoat w/ Satin Contrast.

FUNKY vs. FUNNY!!

Malling has always been one of my guilty pleasures. I really love seeing nice displays on boutiques which showcase their latest trend to introduce in their market. While Folded & Hung does the effort to hire stylists for their displays, which pays off beautifully, others don't mind having bad displays on their boutiques. See the pictures below.

From A Department Store.

A Boutique.
Seriously? Are those boutiques really want to impress their clients or what? Those displays are really funny, especially on how clothes are mixed and matched. It saddens me though. But below is the funky display of Folded and Hung Cabanatuan that should be a role model.

F&H's Funky Display.
See? To all the boutiques I might see on my way, don't be lousy on dressing up your displays. They should impress people, not try to make us laugh.

My Crazy Tie

Meet my studded bow tie that I wore on last Saturday's party. I bought it at Folded & Hung and I really love it!

New addition to my growing number of ties (lol).

Third-World Pride

Another winning moment for the Philippines, after Manny Pacquiao beat Shane Mosley.

BTW, Charice sang the original version of the national anthem, very safe though.

About My Hair..

So I decided to have a funky hairstyle this month. At first many said that it seemed Korean-inspired, of which they were right.

I have seen this style from a Korean band member for which I forgot the band's name or even the person himself. But here's a photo of somewhat became my inspiration:

But my high school friends say that it seemed more like Tim Yap's.

Okay, I consider all of your thoughts. Thanks to all who appreciate it, to those not, IDC.

Purposely Red

So last Saturday, I went to a well-attended birthday party of a friend. It was held at the Nueva Ecija Convention Center, lots of familiar faces and high school friends, of course.

Summer Swimming!

Last last week, we had to do swimming to fight the scorching summer heat. Nope, we didn't go to Bora nor Palawan. Somewhere humbling here in the province, haha.

Forgive me for the eye bags. Lol.

Now, can you guess where is this?

It was a very refreshing day indeed. That's all!

Fairytale Wedding ala Royale

At last! Prince William of Wales and Catherine Middleton tied the knot.

Take note: The bride's gown was designed by Sarah Burton under
Alexander McQueen's label.Excellent British choice.

I adore Kate's simplicity for her bouquet's choice. Plus! She even did her
own make-up on that day.

Would you believe that this magical kiss was rehearsed? For this
will be the headline of all the newspaper all over the
world the following day. Sweet.

Fairytales do come true. A Prince married his commoner woman. Their new titles: The Duke of Cambridge, and Her Highness the Duchess of Cambridge.
