Yogurtree Cafe

A new taste for the Frozen Yogurt lovers has come to Cabsy months ago. It's the Yogurtree Cafe that offers your typical yogurt in extraordinary packages. You can choose in their wide varieties of toppings you can add to your yogurt and you can even have it on a cone, like an ice cream. Yum!

The place is good though I think it should have more seats, but hey they can work it out.

Gulliver's Travels

During a mall stroll, I saw these children books at National Bookstore. Then I learned that "Gulliver's Travels" came first in story books. Bad thing I have not read nor even heard that during my childhood (who has? lol). But with the trailers I saw, I'm quite excited to see the movie. Think imma watch it with friends this coming week with all the vacant days we have.

Call It Love At First Sight

So what did you partake in the recent EPIC SALE of Folded & Hung? Me? It has to be the accessories. I got two belts from their Cabanatuan Branch. A navy blue buckle-less and a diagonally-striped one. I also got a necklace with a gun pendant, and a brown sun glasses w/ gold details from their TriNoma branch.

So I got very obsessed w/ the glasses when I first saw it, I was talking to my self if i were to buy it and the sales lady whispered me to have it 'coz it's a good buy. And I did.
striped tee, Mint; necklace and sun glasses both from F&H
I really felt it was love at first sight when I saw the glasses. I'm satisfied now w/ all the good buys I had. I think, F&H's Epic Sale still runs till the end of January.

The NOSE KNOWS

Everyone loves wearing a scent that's unique, something that pertains to you. Or just something that inspires you, makes you feel better. According to Catherine Saint Louis of the New York Times, a designer fragrance is seen as a way to bestow an affordable whiff of luxury. True enough, many of us shed bucks on designer scents to get a bit of that glamour it brings. For me, I'm eyeing on that Bleu de Chanel, which I learned that was just introduced last fall of 2010. I knew about the scent while doing some shopping at Rustan's in Shangri-La Plaza because of the flyer given to my friend and I.

So what's up this year? According to Manila Bulletin, it's gonna be a woodsy, musky scents that'll go big this 2011. For Karen Dubin, director of Sniffapalooza, powdery scents are due of a comeback. So if you're still hunting for your signature scent, go and let your nose know.

RICH CAFE at Cabsy!

In the bakeshop / cafe arena, few had the guts to rise in Cabanatuan city. It seems that for years, the folks here do not possess that enthusiasm like the Manilenios do for coffee and pastries.  But today, many coffee/bake shops emerged in this city and had established good names, products, and services. An addition to the local scene is Rich Cafe, which (I think) just had its grand opening last week, so we tried the place.

They have a wide array of bars, including: the food for the gods, brownies, white chocolate bar, (sorry I forgot the names of the others), which we had on free taste (lol). The coffee was good, we have tried their varieties of hot and cold. Their cakes, for those who are asking, is yet to come. But I must say that their crew were exceptional! We really had good service from them, plus they serve with smile. Good thing is, you need not to dig deeper in your pockets for the good coffee, pastries, and ambiance.

"Billions and Billions Served."

For three decades, one fast food chain changed the Filipino craving. Yet for that 30 long years, McDonald's has been a household name.  And for their anniversary, they replayed on air their 2001 most remarkable commercial (for me, at least) of them.

Happy 30th Year to McDonalds! Pa-Pa-Ra-Pa-Pa..

The McFloat Diaries..

OK, I admit that I'm guilty being a mall rat. After a long stroll, did you ever feel like your heels are tearing apart? Me, always. But don't you just love the catchy stalls of them smoothies, shakes, frappes, ice scrambles, and those cold drinks? Because you also like to be refreshed after scourging the boutiques and bazaars. For me, I am really really satisfied the McFloat of well, McDonald's. Of course, everyone knows what's it made of.

Every sip, refreshes your every vein. That sundae that makes you close your eyes and shake your head. Boy, and the chocolate syrup that brings you to cloud nine. Yummmmm! Go grab your refreshments after that killer mall strolls!

I ALMOST FORGOT THIS ONE!

Last Dec. 17, 2010 (I know it's kinda late), we attended the annual Lantern Festival at Central Luzon State University. We witnessed the different lanterns creatively made by the students. They also had parade of floats with bands and it was really fun!

with the mean girls, haha

The Planner and Them Plans

So after the new year feast we had, it's now time to wake up. Back to reality. And for this year, I'm really hoping for the positivity in me, more time for myself, more savings (means less malling), focus more on studies, blog more, eat more, and be more.

I decided to lay them plans on my very twitter-inspired planner  which I bought last year at Papemelroti. I have the hardest time finding a nice one at a bookstore so when I saw this one, with no hesitations I paid for it. OK back to the plans, I'm really excited to fill them up so I started with my 'Manila Bulletin Fridays' and my internet payment reminders. Really love how my 2010 planner worked for me, so looking forward that it'd be useful as my old one.

Happy 2011! Let's celebrate love and positivity.
